At MMAnac you'll find fun, fitness, and self defense. Learn to defend yourself and others while training in a family-friendly environment. MMAnac students ages 8 years and older train in karate for self defense and for sport.

Tuesdays & Thursdays

6:00 - 6:45   Beginning US Sport Karate

6:45 - 7:30   Advanced US Sport Karate

7:40 - 8:30   Krav Maga

The US Sport Karate classes provide a workout while learning martial arts techniques. You'll increase your martial arts capability while advancing through the belt ranks:

  • White
  • Yellow
  • Orange
  • Green
  • Blue
  • Purple
  • Brown
  • Red
  • Black

White, yellow, and orange belts take part in the beginning class, and green through black belts participate in the advanced class. Competition is not required but those interested in competition opportunities are encouraged to talk to Coach Janet about competing. There are many opportunities to compete throughout the year.

Krav Maga comes from the Israeli military and means "Contact Combat" in Hebrew. Civilians, Law enforcement, and militaries world-wide learn Krav  Maga for its extremely effective self defense techniques. Krav Maga builds on instinctive movements you already possess, making it easy to learn in a safe environment at MMAnac.

Tournament MMA has all the techniques of MMA with light contact only. Students ages 12 and older enjoy standup, takedown, and ground techniques. This is taught on certain dates - ask Coach Janet for details.
